Happy Birthday!

After got back from the Needle and the Market, we had a mini birthday party for all three ladies. They opened gifts and we sang the birthday song...with trick candles. Oops!

Thanks to everyone who sent the girls' cards and gifts. They loved them all. We have added new DVD's to their collection so we don't have to watch the Little Mermaid 24/7. They also got new bath toys, new dolls, clothes, Mr. Potato Head, adorable signs for their room, and other fun Mermaid things! We can't thank you all enough for all the gifts and gift cards...THANK YOU!!

Well, we finally made it to the Space Needle on the girls birthday of all days! It was beautiful weather and once we at the top we had great views and the girls started to behave. My mom and Gina went with us and we all left and then headed over to the market. We had a good day with the three birthdays! (Gina shares the girls birthday and is now 15!!)

Just around the Corner

Football Season is just around the corner and we can't wait!
Grandpa, Dad, and the girls went down to the UW stadium and ran around
on the 50 just for fun on a beautiful sunny day!

TOUCHDOWN!

We love the "Park"

New kicks are courtesy of Mama and Pops! They love them and had to give them
the park seal of approval. Thanks a bunch!

Mt. Ranier

While Gramie and Grandpa Fred were here we took a two hour trip to Mt. Ranier. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time. Got to see a bunch of sites and went on a small hike with the girls to the viewpoint above. Gorgeous!

1000 year old Cedar trees!

The girls got their own small bag of "rocks" they got to pick out at the gift shop.
Here they are scoping their new treasures with Grandpa

We love "MERMAID"

For those of you who don't already know, the girls are addicted to the Little Mermaid. I would say we have it on at least two to three times a day, just playing in the background so that they can sit and watch it as they please. Gramie had two mermaid books which we took on our long road trip to Michigan. Big help. In fact, here is a picture of Kendall asleep clutching the Mermaid book! Fell asleep reading like her Mom apparently. LOL

Even better yet was the girls birthday gift from Papa and Nana. A pink portable DVD player! Yes, this means we had the Mermaid on all throughout our travels in Michigan and on the plane ride home. What a lifesaver. Thanks Papa and Nana for a much needed gift. With all the weddings coming up and traveling to Portland, it will come in handy then too. In fact, yesterday while Brandon was cleaning the basement and spraying for spiders, the girls and I chilled with the "Mermaid" in the spare bedroom upstairs! I'm beginning to know the whole thing by heart and I swear "Part of your world" puts the girls to sleep in minutes...it is like a drug. I sing it to them every night and pretty sure in the car, this was when they fell asleep while watching the movie. LOL

Princess Room

This is the girls room at Gramie and Grandpa Fred's house! Complete with life-sized Belle, Ariel, Snow White, and Cinderella...and PINK! The girls loved it and every time they went to bed we had to hold them up to each princess so they could hug and kiss them goodnight. Hilarious at first, and then it got old when you had to do it twice a day and they refused to lay down until they kissed and hugged all four of them. The "J" in the pic is for their cousin Josi who helped Gramie paint and decorate the room. This used to be her room and now she shared it with the girls! Above the letters, tinkerbelle is sprinkling pixie dust, or "sleepytime" dust. Too cute. I am sure this was a big project for them and considering Gramie drew all the princesses herself (amazing job) we appreciate all her hard work. It looks awesome and the girls loved it! Thanks for giving the girls a great place to play and rest their heads. I will have a video of the first time the girls saw it up on YouTube below...so keep checking back.

Kiddie Playland

Gramie and Grandpa's house was a kiddie playland.

Sharing the rocker and watching...The Little Mermaid (big shocker!)

"turtle" sandbox even though he is a "crab"

The "house" complete with Elmo curtains, flowers, and plenty of food to "cook"

Sydney loved walking through the garden on this little path.

Finally found love for the swings
