IT'S SNOWING

The night the snow started falling you would have thought Santa was at our front door. They were squealing and insisted on going outside to see it. Here they are in their new beach dresses brought back by Natalie from Thailand...wanting to go out in the snow. I had to promise them over and over that the snow would still be there when they woke up...and thankfully it was.

The girls went sledding and loved it. This may be the first time they actually went down a substantial hill. They made us go with them the first couple trips, but finally braved it themselves...together of course. They love the snow!

On our way!
We took a small vacation trip to Bend, OR this past weekend. Our first night we stayed at a hotel and enjoyed the indoor pool. The girls had a blast "swimming" with their new water wings.

Bend, OR: Tumalo State Park

We headed to Tumalo State Park where we stayed in a very comfy and cozy Yurt for the second night of our trip. We had a great time. Did a short hike, had a fire, dinner, smores, and the girls did a little fireside reading. They had the top bunk and loved every minute of it. We will definitely be back again!

Bend, OR : Smith Rock

On the way home we stopped at the famous Smith Rock. Home to a climbers wonderland. We took a mile hike down and around some of the magnificent rocks and saw some serious climbers.
