Ketchup Disaster

We, or rather I, had a little mishap with the Ketchup bottle at the Power Station Pub, McMenamin's the other day. Grabbed the bottle off of another table, went to shake it, and only then realized that the cap was not on properly. Manuel got the worst of it for sure, but as you can see, Kendall got a bit as well.

The girls love their cousin Manuel. He left this morning to go back to Michigan. Last night when I was putting the girls to bed, Kendall asked me, " Mama, is Manuel going to play catch with us tomorrow?" I had to tell her "no" and that he had to go back home to which she responded, "well, is Manuel going to be here for breakfast tomorrow when I wake up?" Broke my heart to tell her "no" again. Thank goodness we will see them all again soon in September when we go to his house in Michigan for Oktoberfest. Can't wait!!

We went to the Zoo and the girls favorite animals were the Penguins, Giraffe, and Monkeys. We had a great time, weather was beautiful and so were MOST of the animals.

Just hangin' out

The girls both wanted Aunt Lydia to carry them out of the Zoo (it had been a long day) and as I was about to tell them "no...you're too heavy" she promptly swooped both of them up declaring, "I have to carry both of them otherwise how am I ever going to be their favorite great Aunt!" The rest of the fam...you are in for some stiff competition cause they love love love their Aunt Lydia.

Braid Crowns

My Aunt Lydia is hair-extraordinaire and she braided the girls hair to look like crowns.
I remember getting this done by her when I was younger...and to see this makes my heart happy!! Thanks Aunt Lydia!
