Sun, Moon, and Stars
When asked what Sydney wanted to carve into her pumpkin, she replied, "ummm...the sun." So naturally when Kendall was asked what she wanted on her pumpkin, her reply was "the moon." Here are the finished results.
I love this picture. Brandon was being goofy and wasn't expecting me to take a pic, but it turned out pretty cute!
Zach, Amanda, and the girls
Ok, so what you ask is Brandon's pumpkin? It is Meth, the organic structure of meth. I know, you are all thinking...how brilliant right! So, here is Daddy being a "meth head" and the girls couldn't resist going in on the action too...thank goodness they are little and have no idea what is going on. Daddy, you are such a nerd and we love you for it!

Pumpkin Patch
Every year we go to Carlton Farm and pick out our pumpkins and today we went for the annual tradition, 3 years and counting! The girls had a good time, ran through the maze, stepped in every mud puddle they could find, and went down the tube slide. The animals were a big hit as well. We plan to carve them tonight and I will post pictures and video of this as well, so stay tuned!

New Favorite Books
Here are the girls holding up their favorite books for everyone to see. They both know "The Giving Tree" nearly by heart, word for word. One day Kendall told me, "Mom, I am gonna read The Giving Tree book" The first time she told me this, I said "no you can't read yet," and thought I would just let her humor me. Out of nowhere, she literally was repeating the book word for word, page by page back to me! I was so shocked. Obviously, she is not "reading" quite yet, but nevertheless I was still impressed by my two little smarty pants.
Halloween Preview
So in case you don't already know what the girls are going to be for Halloween, Sydney is going to be Jessie, the cowgirl from Toy Story 2, and Kendall is going to be Pocahantas. Both costumes are done! Grandma Kendall has been working on them long and hard... and the end results are toooooo cute. Here is Sydney trying on her full costume for the last time before the big day!
Thanks Grandma for the awesome costumes!
