Natalie and Bush brought the girls some Fourth of July fun! Kendall loved it, Sydney was a little bit weary of the whole thing, which surprised all of us. We figured Kendall would be the shy one, but once again they proved us wrong. There is another video below of the "nakes"...
Sydney and Kendall arrived on August 16th, 2006, in Vancouver, Wa. Here are their day to day activites to keep up with family and friends.

Meet Eli
Eli and Sarah came over today even though it was Saturday since I had to work last night. Eli got a new surprise "do" from his Dad! They had a wedding to go to later today and I took these picks just as they were getting ready to leave. It kinda reminds me of someone else I know who used to sport a mohawk on important event days (ah-hem...Kent graduation?) Anyways, Eli and I share the same birthday, so you know he has to be one cool kid. Thanks for coming on such a busy day you guys!!

Visit from Tyler
This weekend, my good friend from nursing school; Jess, her husband Matt, and baby Tyler came to Seattle and stayed with us for the weekend. We had a nice visit and the girls absolutely loved Tyler...or as they refer to him as "Ty-la" or "Ty-lee." Here are some pics from their visit that were taken with Jess's awesome camera. Tyler got lots of hugs and kisses while he was here. We can't wait to see them again this summer! He is a cutie...

History
As most of you know, Obama won the Democratic nomination yesterday and made history!
Here is Sydney weighing in on the historic night!
ps...this one is especially for you Grandpa Kendall! Truce??
Addendum: Oh, and in case you didn't know...OBAMA is really spelled A-H-I-M-A...well, according to Sydney. And truthfully, not too bad for a not-quite two year old. Her identifying the letters of his name in front of him during his speech last night was totally spontaneous and was the first time I had heard this myself. Pretty amazing. As you can hear her say, "A...apple"
They know almost all the letters of the alphabet!
Here are the letters I think she was tryng to identify, but in a fast forward fashion...
b-A-r-A-c-k o-b-a-M-A
And here is where I think she got confused. Yes...the first word that both girls can spell is
O-H-I-O (much to the dismay of some of my family members) So, as she made her way through Obama's last name, clearly the "O" through her off and she followed suit into her O-H-I-O spelling, only to recover graciously towards the end of his name with - "M-A"
How poetic!

Why Why
Here are the girls' watching their second favorite show, second to you guessed it....ELMO! (Actually, these are the only two shows they watch...so really "Super Why" is in last place...but they still love it. LOL)
