We finally made it to the Zoo today. It is about 15 minutes from our house and the perfect size for the girls. The weather is beautiful. No rain, sunny, and near 60 degrees.
We had a great time seeing all the animals, and the girls expeciallyl iked the Mama Gorilla with her new baby. They also liked the Jaguar who we also got to see up close and personal. Both the Gorilla, her baby, and the Jaguar were about 2 feet from us, so they enjoyed it. Of course we were separated by glass though!! We also stopped by the Farm and saw all the farm animals. The whole time the girls were singing "Old McDonald" which made some of our neighbors chuckle
Then we stopped by the Deli for some lunch and headed home. Girls fell asleep in the car on the way back, and are sleeping still. Must have worn them out. What a good day so far!
