First day of Kindergarten

Kendall and Sydney had their first day of Kindergarten today! Kendall had a rough start this morning and was crying asking,"what if I don't like my teacher?"  "but he is a boy, and what if I don't like his dark skin?" This was a great opportunity to discuss that no matter what color we are on the outside we are all the same on the inside.  By the time breakfast started, she was much better and ready to get on the bus.  Sydney did great all morning and kept asking, "but when are we going to get on the bus"  When the bus finally came, they held eachothers hands and bravely stepped on without any problems.  We are so proud of them and can't wait to hear how the day was with Mr. London and Mr. D!
